Hey I'm Amy & I was daydreaming of working at Walt Disney World, in Florida. That dream has become a reality! & I had the BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE. Feb 2011 - Feb 2012. CRP UK Pavilion. This is a blog of amateur sorts, recording the process of how I scored the dream job & my general life & beyond... |

So the drama of my phone interview can be read here: http://crunkvoodooplaymates.tumblr.com/post/1011391580/royalty-nobility-the-gentry-and-oh-how-quaint:
But I just thought I would note the process for anyone whos having theirs. So first thing I did was source loads of blogs & vlogs for previous questions. I found loads of variations of the same questions really; some I’ve noted below.
- Why do you want to work for Disney?
- Tell me about yourself.
- Tell me about your home town/ the UK.
- What do you think would be the hardest thing about living in Florida?
- How would you feel about living with upto 7 other people of different nationalities?
- What Disney character are you most like?
- When have you dealt with a difficult customer?
To prep for my interview I noted down some answers so I could have them to hand during my interview, as I knew I would be nervous & didn’t want to forget anything. I wrote a single page per question, writing down key words/phrases & examples of situations. Making sure the answers flowed nicely. Obviously some answers crossed over but I had written additional examples of experiences.
However some people simply wrote the different questions down over two pages & key words or 3 questions per page & some key words & notes. It’s really up to what you feel comfortable with. Although do NOT write a script! It will sound fake, rehearsed & insincere.
Example of how I laid out my stuff below:

So I laid them out in front of me so I could see them quickly & assess what I wanted to say, honestly I didn’t say alot of what I wanted to, but me & Hannah had a giggle & soon all my anxiety was gone & I relaxed right into the interview.
